Chapter Twenty-Three: An Unforgettable Birthday Party...

Image
Narrated by Erytheia Masterson Winter had now arrived, and it also happened to be less than a week until my birthday (and Xanthe's, of course).  "Wow, I can't believe we're leaving school soon," I said.  "I know, it feels crazy! I still remember my first day at primary," Xanthe replied. "Back then it seemed like ages until we'd finish." "It did," I agreed. "Now it's here." I had been meaning to practise my violin, as I knew that being good at an instrument could help me earn a scholarship towards university. Any chance of a peaceful practice session, however, was marred by hearing a scream and the whoosh of flames... "What on Earth happened?" I yelled, hurrying downstairs. "It was me," Xanthe admitted. "I tried using Repairio to fix the stereo, but it went wrong..." "Never mind," Dad said. "It happens to all of us." Then, out of nowhere, a sprinkler appeared, exting...

Chapter Twenty-Two: Change of Plans

Narrated by Peter Masterson Ah, spring. The weather was getting warmer and it was nice to be able to go outside without having to wrap up warm in my thick winter coat. The garden was looking spectacular, even if Artemis's rocket-building project was obscuring the view somewhat. I could also enter something i...

In fact, it had become a running joke on our little SimsApp group, the fact that we never had meetings. Of course, we had all families and jobs and other obligations, but our children were at the age where they could look after themselves now, so we were running out of excuses. In fact, that evening, I sat down in the living room to send a message to the group. Guys, this is getting a bit silly now. We need to hold a meeting! How about we go to the Magic Realm and have some fun? As I guessed, the first response was from Anastasia Paraskevas. Hahaha. Yeah. We say that and then it never happens! Ah come on, I replied. We can't just use SimsApp forever. Helen's a teenager now, right? She can be l...
